The Story Behind DGC
Every great institution has a story rooted in purpose. Ours began with a simple yet powerful question: "Why should quality professional education be limited to big cities?" The Foundation is Laid
Doon (P.G.) Paramedical College & Hospital is established in Dehradun, becoming one of the first dedicated paramedical institutions in Uttarakhand, filling a critical gap in healthcare education for the region.
Agriculture Education Takes Root
Recognizing Uttarakhand's rich agricultural heritage and the demand for trained professionals, Doon (P.G.) College of Agriculture Science & Technology (DCAST) is established, offering programs in Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry.
The Group Expands
Doon (P.G.) College of Agriculture & Allied Sciences (DCAAS) is added to the group, broadening the academic portfolio to include Food Technology and Fisheries Science — sectors key to Uttarakhand's rural economy.
Education & Pharmacy Join

A founding figure and driving force behind the Doon Group, the Chairman's vision of accessible professional education for Uttarakhand's youth has guided the group's growth over 25+ years. Under his leadership, DGC has grown from one college to a thriving group of five institutions serving thousands of students annually.
